Clarion Chamber Ensemble’s 15th Season opening Concert, “All Main Courses” features classical music staples from the canon of classical chamber music. The repertoire includes the sterling, Quintet in E-flat Major for Piano, Oboe, Clarinet, Horn and Bassoon by German composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; the effervescent and reverent Trio for Flute, Cello and Piano from the pen of 20th century Czech composer, Bohuslav Martinu; and the seldom heard Quartet in G Minor op. 18 for Piano, Violin, Viola and Cello by Johannes Brahms.
Clarion Members participating in this concert include Gerry Graham Ariza Gonzales (Cello), Hyun Joo “Julia” Lee (Piano), David Jerome Johnson (Flute), Reynato Resurreccion (Oboe), Ariel Sta. Ana (Clarinet), Noel Singcuenco (Bassoon) and Jay-Ar Mesa (French Horn). Guest Artists include Seung Yun “Cecilia”Lee (Piano), Sara Maria Ariza Gonzales (Violin) and Maria Corazon Reyes (Viola).
“All Main Courses” is co-presented by Steinway Boutique Manila as Official Piano Sponsor, 98.7 DZFE “The Masters Touch,” the classical music service of the Far East Broadcast Company, Philippines.
