The National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) celebrates 42 years of serving as catalyst in discovering and nurturing young Filipino musicians advancing artistic performance, creativity, and Philippine music traditions.


With generous support from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), the Department of Education (DepED) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), NAMCYA celebrates National Music Week on November 24 to 29, 2015 with the Finals Round of this year’s Competitions.


The culminating events will be two WINNERS’ CONCERTS:


5:00 p.m., Saturday, November 28 at Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino for the solo winners of the Piano, Violin & Lower Strings, Woodwinds, Voice, and Solo Rondalla Instrument Competitions


5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 29 at Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo for the group winners of the Children’s & Adult Choirs, Youth Rondalla, and Traditional Music Ensemble Competitions.
